Chicago Partners with Local Organizations

The city and surrounding metro area of Chicago is a bustling city full of amazing people and great opportunities. We have partnered with organizations and created infrastructure within our own organization to give back to this great community. Our radio stations and businesses have a major voice in this city, and we leverage our platform to give back to people in need. Some of the great projects we have been involved with have been:

Cop on a Rooftop
WTMX’S Koz and Jen at Cop on a Rooftop: The WTMX afternoon team of Koz & Jen joined with local police officers for Dunkin’ Donuts Cop on a Rooftop, a day-long fundraising event for Special Olympics Illinois. Koz & Jen were at the Dunkin’ Donuts in suburban Lombard; statewide the event raised more than $880,000 for the athletes.

Lincoln Perry Annex
HRC at Lincoln Perry Annex: HRC sent a big team of volunteers (32 strong) to Lincoln Perry Annex, a low-income senior housing complex on the South Side of Chicago, for a morning of breakfast, Bingo, cards and fellowship.

Lincoln Perry Senior Housing
HRC Kitchen Crew at Lincoln Perry Senior Housing: The HRC kitchen crew at Lincoln Perry Annex cooked up a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh biscuits, fresh fruit salad, and hash browns, along with coffee and juice for about 80 residents.
